The South Korean women’s national handball team lost their first game of the World Championship final.The Koreans fell 27-31 to Slovenia in the first game of the Final Four on Day 8 of the 26th World Women’s Handball Championship in Trondheim, Norway, on Sunday (July 7).Korea, which entered the final with a 2-0 record in the group stage, finished fifth among the six nations in Pool 2 with three losses.The Koreans pulled within two goals of Slovenia on back-to-back goals by Ryu Eunhee (Győri, Hungary) in the final minute of the first half, but went into halftime trailing 14-19.In the second half, the gap widened to 10 goals at one point, but Korea made a late charge and closed the gap to four goals.Ryu Eun-hee led the way with 12 goals, 스포츠토토존 while Woo Beetna (Seoul Metropolitan Government) and Shin Eun-joo (Incheon City Hall) added five goals apiece.
