See the ‘Last Comic Standing’ at Treasure Island Casino

Comedian and actor Felipe Esparza will perform at the Treasure Island Theater Friday, 23 February at 9 p.m.

A product of the streets of East L.A., Esparza is most known for his raw, real-life comedy. Starting out by opening for fellow comedians Gabriel Iglesias and Paul Rodriguez, Esparza got his big break after winning “Last Comic Standing” in 2010. Shortly after winning top prize, he produced his first one-hour special “They’re Not Gonna Laugh At You,” which premiered on Showtime.

In the early days of his career, Esparza was featured on “Que Locos,” a comedy show that helped launch the careers of other Latino comedians such as George Lopez, Gabriel Iglesias and Willie Barcena. Since then, Esparza has made several television appearances, including a recurring role on NBC’s “Superstore,” and a frequent guest on TruTV’s “World’s Dumbest” and Adult Swim’s “The Eric Andre Show.”

Most recently, Esparza and his wife produced the one-hour comedy special “Translate This” that premiered on HBO in September 2017. Currently, you can hear Esparza on “What Up Fool?,” his weekly podcast featuring stories and interviews with celebrities and every day people.

Tickets are available starting at $35.95, plus taxes and service charges, and can be purchased by calling 866-712-9308 or 702-894-7722, or visiting the casino’s website.
